Herbs of Fire - A Celebration of Mid-Summer
On this weekend we will celebrate the return of the sun and the longest day of the year. Learn about the
‘hot’ herbs and when to use them, and about ‘hot’ conditions and how to treat them. Understand the ‘hot’ constitution and learn how to balance this state. On the Saturday evening we will have a solstice ritual by the fire.

Natural Dyes and Botanical Art
For those who feel inspired by Nature to let their creative juices flow... This weekend will focus on unleashing some of Nature's most treasured secrets: the colorful dyes held within the plants themselves. Using lichens, garden plants, wild barks & more, students will learn about fixing dyes with various mordents and the ways to coax a range of colors out of the same plant. Plants will become the medium for creating wild Nature prints & other artistic expressions from drawing to crafts. Plenty of room for hands-on exploration & discovery for everyone, ranging from accomplished artists through to beginners. No experience necessary.
