Scientists at Integrated Tissue Dynamics (Intidyn) have detected a biological basis for the pain of Fibromyalgia, a perplexing and debilitating disorder affecting approximately 10 million people in the US. Originally regarded as psychosomatic, researchers found an enormous increase in sensory nerve fibers within the blood vessels of the skin of women suffering from fibromyalgia.
